Toby and Mika Slough
Toby and Mika Slough have spent more than forty years serving together. They met at Abilene Christian University, married in 1985, and began serving together through the local church.
Their work in mental wellness grew from their story. In 1988, Toby was diagnosed with panic and anxiety while serving in ministry. That season shaped how they understand the struggles carried by pastors, parents, and those they lead.
Toby founded Cross Timbers Church in Argyle, Texas, in 2000 and led the church for over two decades. As an author, mentor, and national and international speaker, he brings lived experience and decades of church leadership to conversations about faith and mental wellness.
Mika has served alongside Toby through every season. Her wisdom, compassion, and practical care have shaped their ministry and how Goby supports families and churches. She understands the personal cost of mental wellness struggles and the importance of walking beside someone.
Together, they founded Goby Ministries in 2022. Through coaching, cohorts, curriculum, resources, and speaking, Toby and Mika equip leaders to respond to mental wellness needs with confidence, care for their own well-being, and build church cultures where people can speak honestly, find support, and know they are not alone.

Ross Slough
Pastor and LPC
Ross brings his expertise as a Licensed Professional Counselor to the Goby team to offer clinical guidance, create content and help manage e-commerce.
He loves helping people identify what matters most, recognize what may be getting in the way, and take practical steps toward meaningful change. His unique experience as a pastor, a pastor's kid, a husband and a father allows him to speak into the challenges that leaders and parents face. He believes that our pain has a purpose and that God-forged resilience equips us to take on the ups and downs of life with strength and confidence.
Chase Trimmier
Pastor
Chase is a seasoned communicator with experience serving as both a student pastor and campus pastor. His years in local church ministry have given him the opportunity to walk alongside students, families, leaders, and congregations through everyday life and ministry. Chase brings biblical teaching, pastoral experience, and a passion for helping people know the hope of Christ.
Bailey Garner
Pastor
Bailey Garner serves as the Director of Key Relationships at Goby Ministries, where she builds meaningful relationships with church leaders and helps connect them with practical tools to better serve their people.
As a parent herself, Bailey brings a valuable perspective to leaders who want to better understand and support the parents and families in their church. She loves helping leaders think through the real challenges families are facing and find simple, intentional ways to come alongside them with greater confidence and care.
